ABOUT JACOB

Jacob started playing bagpipes in 2009 as a member of the Howell High School Marching Band. He had the pleasure of learning from Angie Stewart-Kimball.

In 2012, Jacob began to teach private lessons. He has instructed students of a wide variety of ages and at different levels of experience. He works with each student to create a tailored curriculum. Jacob also hosts group lessons.

At the same time, Jacob began performing for private events. He has played at a range of events including funerals, memorials, and ceremonies. Jacob has a large repertoire of music including popular songs such as Scotland the Brave, Amazing Grace, and Flowers of the Forest. He can also learn other songs upon request.

Jacob earned his Bachelor of Science majoring in music in 2019 from Eastern Michigan University.
